Liu Kang shriekers and Johnny Cage nut-punchers rejoice: new movies in the Mortal Kombat franchise are in development.

With no shortage of brutal violence and foul language, the 2021 film earned its hard R rating, and early indications are director Simon McQuoid’s follow-up flick will be even more raw later this year.
